DECT sensor and Windows client¶
Which sensor is supported for DECT onsite surveys?¶
JWaves currently supports the LimeSDR Mini 2.0 for DECT onsite surveys and DECT spectrum analysis workflows.
Hardware reference: LimeSDR Mini 2.0 on Mouser.
Other adapters may be added later, but the LimeSDR Mini 2.0 is the supported sensor for the current release.
Where can I download the DECT sensor client?¶
The Windows SDR sensor client is available to active JWaves Survey subscribers from JWaves app > Settings > Downloads.
The public Downloads page explains the requirements and product scope, but the installer itself is not distributed from public documentation pages.
The client connects to JWaves through your local browser session. For the current release, the client is available for Windows only.
Does the DECT sensor client support EU and US DECT bands?¶
Yes. JWaves supports both the 1.8 GHz and 1.9 GHz DECT bands.
Can JWaves process all DECT carriers in the selected band?¶
Yes. The JWaves sensor client processes the selected DECT band in real time for RSSI capture, onsite survey, and spectrum analysis workflows.
JWaves uses RF measurement data for planning, validation, and troubleshooting. Site survey workflows do not require call content.
Can I use the DECT sensor client without the JWaves web app?¶
Not in the standard release.
The DECT sensor client is designed to work with the JWaves web application for site survey and spectrum analysis workflows.
Do you sell the aluminum enclosure for the LimeSDR Mini 2.0?¶
The aluminum enclosure is included with annual JWaves Survey subscriptions when available.
It can also be purchased separately when listed in the JWaves shop.
