First Project

Use this page to create your first JWaves project and open it in the floor plan editor.

Create A Project

  1. Sign in to JWaves.
  2. Open the Projects page.
  3. Select Create Project.
  4. Enter the project name.
  5. Enter the final customer or site name when relevant.
  6. Select the radio technology for the project.
  7. Save the project.

The project now appears in the project table.

Open The Project

  1. Find the project in the project table.
  2. Use the project action button to open it.
  3. JWaves opens the floor plan editor.

Add A Floor Plan

  1. Select Add Floor or the empty floor plan area.
  2. Upload the floor plan image or PDF.
  3. Give the floor a clear name.
  4. Set the scale before running simulations or surveys.

The scale is required because predictions, wall attenuation, base station placement, and measured survey points depend on real floor plan dimensions.

First Project Checklist

  • project created
