Projects¶
Projects are the main containers for JWaves floor plans, predictions, measured surveys, spectrum evidence, and reports.
Use the projects page to create a project, reopen an existing project, edit project details, and access the floor plan editor.
Create A Project¶
- Sign in to JWaves.
- Open the Projects page.
- Select Create Project.
- Enter a project name.
- Enter the final customer or site name when relevant.
- Select the radio technology.
- Save the project.

Open A Project¶
Use the action buttons in the project table to open or manage a project.
The editor opens the project floor plan view where you can:
- upload floor plans
- set the floor scale
- place DECT base stations or WiFi access points
- add walls
- run predictions
- perform onsite survey workflows when a supported sensor is connected
Save Project Changes¶
Save the project after important edits such as:
- adding or renaming a floor
- changing scale
- editing walls
- moving base stations or access points
- adding measured survey data
Saving confirms the cloud project state. Sensor survey data can also be saved locally by the sensor client before synchronization.
Project Naming¶
Use names that remain understandable later, for example:
- customer or site name
- building or floor group
- radio technology when useful
- survey date when the project is tied to a specific onsite visit
